My skin is always dry in the winter and since I can’t ever decide which mask to buy, I just make my own at home and it never fails. There are no toxins or unnecessary junk in them and the best part of all is that you can find all the ingredients in the kitchen. Here are my six favorite go-to masks;
Mask #1
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of l of oats
- Vitamin E drop
Mask # 2
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 ½ tablespoon of brown sugar
Mask #3
- ½ of an avocado.
- 1 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Mask #4
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
Mask #5
- 1/2 avocado, crushed
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of aloe vera
Mask #6
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 banana
- 1 teaspoon honey
Whenever I prepare these myself, I just wing the proportions so if you make a mistake by adding too much or too little, don’t worry. I promise you that you really can’t go wrong, you’ll just have more nutrition. I like to leave my masks on for 20 minutes or till dry and wash it off with lukewarm water. For best results use 1-4x a week.
